Felt Dave was very honest. Dave coming from a mechanical background. Made me feel like he was qualified to speak to a room of technicians. Felt like he was highly qualified for his field.

If you have not heard Aaron Schuh speak or attend his training, I would encourage you to do so.

He has a plethora of information on the human behavior of the generations of our workers, not just statistics. His training really sheds light on how, as managers, we can coach and build stronger teams as a result of understanding their needs and wants.

This course will help me to make the most of each call. I learned how to present options and accessories to customers with more confidence; that I am offering something that they will benefit from. I learned how to make my calls more consistent from start to finish and be able to accomplish this in a professional and efficient manner.

I’m writing this letter regarding the onsite visit we had with Barb Geiger and Laura Finley on June 25-28, 2018. This was my first experience with having an onsite visit from our financial coaches and I have to say it was amazing.

The information, guidance, and help I personally received from Barb and Laura was very much welcomed and appreciated. This truly was a great experience and helped me understand the direction Rick is wanting his company to grow in. This onsite also helped me to understand the reasoning for departmentalization and why we are moving in that direction.

Not only were Barb and Laura professional, but they were very patient and understanding when teaching and guiding me through the clean ups from the past month end closings and what to look for going forward.

The only negative thing I can say is that I felt like the time they were here flew by and I wasn’t ready for them to leave that Thursday. I learned so much those 4 days and I look forward to my continued phone calls with Barb and next year’s onsite.

I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know what a class in Phoenix! Excited to move forward and it was a real self-evaluation of myself and how I want to move forward in this industry.

I took the same class in 2009 and definitely not the same class. A lot has changed.

Company culture has just become an issue in our shop, so this was perfect timing. Once again thank you for all you guys and gals do.

After our onsite this last month with Barb and Laura, I felt compelled to ask Page, our new Accounting Manager, to sit down and write how she felt about the week of onsite with Barb, and also how the coaching has been going for her. Page came from a background where her employer did not spend real money to invest in her training or advancement of her abilities as an accounting person. Attached you will see her response to the onsite, and how she feels about Barb and the entire BDR support staff and processes.

I can only try to explain how much Chris, Barb, and the entire staff at BDR have helped me to become a smarter, better, and more understanding owner of my company.

Over the past four years, we have gone through a lot of changes – both good and bad. But through it all, you guys have always been there to give me advice and to help me advance my thoughts and dreams of improving the way we do things here. Sometimes you are just the big brother and sister that listen to me, offers advice, and helps direct me to a better decision for not only myself but my company.

When you think of coaching and bringing someone into your company, you first think “these guys don’t have a clue what I do, how things are around here, and how are they going to help me.” Well you have all proven to me that if I opened my company, thoughts, and my heart to you, listened to what you are saying, and trust that you do have my best interest in mind, I can and I have learned a lot.

I truly believe that every company should have someone to listen and to talk to about what is going on with your company good or bad. That they will become better at what they do, and their company will be better. If the Owner is getting better at being an Owner, then the employees will see and will want to get better. So, everyone wins.

On the subject of coaching and the BDR experience: I have gone as far as saying that the BDR Company, and especially Chris Koch and Barbara Geiger, are not just my coaches – you have become a big part of our family, here at Reliable 1. Above all, I have found new friends that I trust to be there to help me through anything.

Now, I know that, as an owner, you rarely ever get someone to stand up and say that you are doing a great job and thank you for your hard work. Today, I am saying that about Chris, Barb, and their support teams. I want it to be heard by everyone. So, I hope that this will be passed onto your management so that they can see how appreciative myself, my wife Becky, our family, and all of our employees are for the work you do. You have helped me to be a better dreamer, a better owner, and you helped me to contain and direct my passion for my company so that we can continue to grow in so many ways.

I cannot say it enough: you are doing a great job in helping me to realize my dreams, and I look forward to continuing this on for a long time.

It’s amazing with the recession and everything you hear on TV, some of the worst economic times since the great depression and here I am flourishing having some of the best years I had in my life and it is all due to BDR.

At first my business ran me, it was very frustrating not having any time with my family; my daughter and my wife never saw me. One of the reasons I got into Profit Coach was the fact that I didn’t have answers, know where to go or what to do. I started business pretty much for financial freedom. I was always robbing Peter to pay Paul, get this job done so I can pay that one. That was one of the frustrating parts, not knowing what to do.

When I got involved with BDR one of the things that happened immediately was the fact that my revenue dramatically changed to double quadruple and the best part of that was that I could get answers… I could call somebody. The nice thing about having someone there is that when you’re making decisions you can have support, someone that can help you make the decision, but not necessarily make it for you. That is really neat because you get to learn from it, you’re the one doing it.

From there to now my profit is up 160%, I have money in the bank, my bills are paid, I don’t have to worry about payroll and the vendors are paid. The nice thing about this is that I am sleeping, that is a phenomenal feeling.
