Shawn Jackson

Shawn Jackson is a seasoned leader with decades of hands-on experience in the plumbing and mechanical industry. A U.S. Navy veteran, Shawn began his career at Roto-Rooter in 1999, rising from the field into senior leadership roles, including General Manager with full operational and P&L responsibility across multiple locations on the East Coast. His background combines disciplined leadership with real-world operational expertise built over years in service and management roles.

In 2018, Shawn and his wife became business owners after purchasing a Roto-Rooter contractor franchise in North Carolina. As an owner, he expanded an already successful operation by optimizing systems, managing expenses, and identifying growth opportunities, ultimately leading to a successful exit. These experiences reinforced Shawn’s passion for helping business owners gain clarity, confidence, and control in their businesses.

After selling the business in 2022, Shawn returned to the industry in 2023 as a Business Coach for a national commercial and residential emergency restoration company. Initial partnered with 28 established locations, he worked closely with owners to enhance operational structure, financial performance, and leadership execution. In that role for two years, he expanded to include an additional 17 locations, many of which lacked industry or service experience, requiring foundational support to build their businesses from the ground up.

Throughout his career, Shawn developed a strong reputation for turning around underperforming branches and building accountable, high-performing teams. He was frequently trusted with stabilizing locations ranked among the organization’s lowest performers, using clear expectations, process improvement, and people-first leadership to drive sustainable growth and profitability. These experiences strengthened his ability to lead through change and deliver measurable results.

As a BDR Coach, Shawn is driven by the opportunity to help owners and leadership teams unlock potential and build long-term success. He approaches each relationship with honesty, accountability, and a deep sense of ownership in his clients’ outcomes. Outside of work, Shawn is a devoted husband and father of four who values time with family and enjoys stand-up comedy, performing at local open mics and connecting with others through humor.
