Rhonda Marincus

Rhonda Marincus is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in customer service, office management, and financial control. With roles including Customer Service Manager at US National Bank, Office Manager for Medford School District, and Controller for an Oregon-based HVAC company, Rhonda has a wealth of experience. Her enduring commitment is evident in her long-standing role as the Office Manager/Bookkeeper of her family’s general contractor business for over 30 years.

The journey to financial and managerial roles began differently for Rhonda, who initially aspired to be a math teacher. However, life led her to banking, and after taking time off to raise a family, she delved into bookkeeping and QuickBooks when her husband started his own general contracting business.

Several notable accomplishments underscore Rhonda’s skills and strengths. In her previous HVAC role, she successfully recovered multiple thousands of dollars from past-due accounts within her first few months at the company. She also implemented ServiceTitan® integrated with QuickBooks Enterprise, establishing processes and procedures in the service department for the management of billing and maintenance agreements.

Critical to success in the industry, Rhonda believes in the importance of great people skills, effective communication, attention to detail, and actively listening to clients’ needs. A key motivation throughout has been a genuine passion for helping and teaching people, which has become a driving force in her professional journey.

Rhonda is thrilled about joining the BDR team as an accounting coach. Her excitement stems from a genuine love for helping people and the opportunity to assist others in establishing processes and procedures to drive business profitability. To build strong relationships with future clients, Rhonda plans to invest time in getting to know them, actively listening to their needs, and becoming their go-to person for accounting questions through proficiency in BDR processes. Having been a BDR client for over five years before joining the team, Rhonda’s unique position allows her to share the resources that helped her build successful processes in the HVAC industry.

Outside work, Rhonda finds joy in spending time with her family, singing in the church choir, camping, and indulging in her passion for reading.
