Chelsea Martin

Chelsea Martin brings more than a decade of accounting and financial leadership experience in the home service industry to her role as an Accounting Coach at BDR. Having worked her way through customer service, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, project management, and ultimately Financial Controller for a multi-trade HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company, Chelsea understands firsthand the financial challenges contractors face every day.

Throughout her career, Chelsea has helped improve cash flow, streamline accounting processes, reduce operating expenses, and create financial systems that support long-term growth. She believes accounting is more than balancing numbers—it’s about providing business owners with the clarity and confidence to make informed decisions. Her practical experience, combined with her Harvard Business School Online Financial Accounting Certificate, allows her to simplify complex financial concepts into actionable strategies clients can immediately apply.

As a coach, Chelsea is passionate about helping business owners better understand their financials while building trusted, long-term relationships rooted in communication, consistency, and genuine care. She enjoys celebrating client successes and partnering with them to create stronger, more profitable businesses through BDR’s proven coaching systems.

Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and destinations, continuously learning new technologies and accounting practices, and spending quality time with her family.
